With a new stock of
Halo model kits having just arrived in the Gadget Inspector warehouse, we thought we'd put our model making skills to the test once again constructing one of the new models. Just like
last week, we started off by carefully popping out the individual pieces, doing our best not to damage any of them.
Next, using the illustrated instructions (which we find extremely helpful, although we like to pretend we don't need them because we're veteran model-makers now), we started putting the pieces together. We found this to be quite easy due to there being no gluing or soldering required; we simply had to put the tabs in the holes. However, we do recommend that you keep a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers handy - some of those parts can be fiddly!
Soon enough, we succeeded once again, having constructed our own beautiful model of Master Chief's helmet. Maybe we should start entering model making competitions...
