Let's face it, us Brits aren't very good at winter. You'd think that by now, due to the percentage of time our weather isn't great, we'd be absolute pros at handling the testy climates of the United Kingdom. The truth is, however, rain, wind, snow, sleet - we can't handle it - not one bit! We love a good moan at the best of time, but boy oh boy do the grumpy Gary's come out in the winter time. Gadget Inspector are here to save the day once again, because we've got an idea that will make wrapping up for winter the most fun you've ever had. The Avengers are the hottest superheroes on the planet right now in the wake of the Avengers Assemble. Thor, played by the wonderful Chris Hemsworth is without a doubt one of our favourite Avengers - that Mjolnir hammer is seriously cool, right? Here at Gadget Inspector we will be queuing up at the cinema to watch the fantastic Thor 2, due for release on the 30th of October (a week tomorrow). No, we're not sure why Captain America looks so much shorter than the others either. Still, no need to dwell on that bit of bafflement, because we come bearing good news! We've just added an array of awesome Avengers costumes to the Gadget Inspector site, which is great news for any comic book and/or movie fans with costume parties coming up! We're told there's some sort of big fancy dress occasion pencilled in towards the end of October, for starters...

• Our Thor costume is ideal for anyone who's interested in Greek mythology, the comic books that were derived from those myths, and the blockbuster movies that were based on those comics. We can't provide the hammer, unfortunately, and nor do we have the necessary licence to sell you the power over lightning. We can give you muscles, though; big foam muscles that will make you look just like Chris Hemsworth.
• Then we have our Iron Man costume - we hope red is your colour! If you loved watching Robert Downey Jr. zooming around while AC/DC played in the background, you'll go nuts for this outfit; it's second only to the Iron Man suit built by Tony Stark himself.
• We all get angry sometimes, but very few of us have experienced the phenomenon known as 'hulking'. If you want that to happen, your best bet is our Hulk costume - not unlike the Thor outfit, it comes with a padded muscle chest that might convince people you go to the gym every so often.
• And finally, there's our Captain America costume. Perhaps not anyone's first choice (all the cool kids want to be Iron Man, surely?) but his film was the best and that's why he still has a place in our hearts.
